Lyrics for Life Gala donations exceed $700,000

“This is beyond words! When we (Sister Hazel) first started Lyrics For Life - we had high hopes of raising enough money each year to make a real difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families. But the idea of raising $700,000 at a single event would have been outrageous! But now - thanks to y’all, not anymore… After the last several years of phenomenal growth and support - 2023 raised the bar yet again! 700k!! Pinch me! We are so grateful to the tireless, tight knit, and passionate Lyrics for life team, to all the sponsors, to the fans, to all the artists who donated their handwritten lyrics, - and of course to our old buddy Darius Rucker for performing with us and helping create a legendary and unforgettable night of music, stories, laughter and tears in our hometown of Gainesville, FL. And as always we are eternally grateful to the doctors, nurses, PA’s, and researchers who are on the front lines - day in and day out - in this courageous fight against cancer”.
